The duration of your window installation can vary based on the size and type of windows being replaced. Typically, the installation process for each window takes around 30 minutes to an hour. On average, our skilled team can complete the installation of 7 to 12 windows in a single day, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for you.

The strength of your new windows depends on the type of window you choose. We have several options available when it comes to new windows, and the durability of the glass is what makes the difference. Our typical windows are double-pane, double-strength, and hurricane-rated. This means that, although they are not unbreakable, our windows are much tougher to break than older aluminum windows, new construction windows, and other window brands. Our hurricane-rated windows are engineered to withstand winds ranging from 140 to 170 miles per hour. While they can endure harsh conditions, it’s important to note that, in the event of a direct impact from flying debris, the glass may still break, but usually, it would only be the outside pane that is affected.

For those seeking maximum protection, we also offer impact windows. Impact windows are virtually impossible to break; even hitting them with a hammer would likely not compromise their integrity. Impact windows are required for homes located on the coast of Florida due to the hurricanes we experience. However, for those living inland, like we do here in Central Florida, impact windows are not necessary, which is why we sell many more hurricane-rated windows than impact windows.

Deciding whether to tackle a project yourself or hire a professional depends on the complexity, your skills, and your budget. For window installation, hiring experts is advisable to ensure safety, proper installation, and adherence to manufacturer warranties. Professionals guarantee precise measurements and proper installation, saving you from costly repairs later. Ultimately, the benefits of professional expertise outweigh the potential savings of a do-it-yourself approach.

Low-E Glass, short for low emissivity glass, features a microscopically thin and nearly invisible layer of metal or metallic oxide layer that is applied directly to the surface of one or more panes of glass. This innovative coating effectively minimizes the transfer of infrared radiation from a warmer pane of glass to a cooler one, resulting in a lower U-factor for the window. Importantly, Low-E glass is beneficial in all seasons. During the winter months, it helps retain heat indoors by reducing the amount that escapes through the glass, which can lead to significant savings on heating bills. Additionally, Low-E glass reduces the amount of direct heat entering through the glass, thereby reducing solar heat gain and decreasing cooling costs during the warmer months. With its year-round efficiency, Low-E glass is a smart choice for any home or building.
